We are a medical rehabilitation centre specializing in the treatment of dysfunctions of movement organs resulting from injuries, stroke, in pre- and post-operational conditions.
As the only rehabilitation centre in the European Union we make use of an innovative method of neurological and movement rehabilitation – Dikul's method® (read more), which is consulted in our centre by the author of this method prof. Valentin Dikul from Moscow.
Apart from rehabilitation by the Dikul's method®, which is one of the special methods of movement rehabilitation, the Rehabilitation Centre DIKUL NZOZ offers traditional forms of ambulatory rehabilitation (kinesistherapy, physiotherapy, massage).
The therapy by Dikul's method® gives positive results both in case of persons after spinal cord injury particularly with a diagnosis of para- and tetraplegia as well as with the persons with cerebral palsy, syndrome of spinal pains, scoliosis, discopathy and the correction of posture defects.
Our physiotherapists completed a year and a half training course at the Rehabilitation Centre for the Persons after a Spinal Cord Injury and with Cerebral Palsy in Moscow where trained by professor V. Dikul they learned how to apply this method.
Our offer is designed for the persons who by a decree of fate are deprived of the possibility to realize their plans and dreams who lack physical efficiency but still want to participate in social life actively. Professional rehabilitation and assistance in the process of health recovery are indispensable factors in case of these persons.
For this purpose we adapted a building in the centre of Wroclaw where CENTRUM DIKUL – the hotel and rehabilitation complex was created, it consists of a rehabilitation centre and a hotel designed among others for the disabled moving on wheelchairs.
In the CENTRUM DIKUL we also perform therapeutic and relaxing massages, physical procedures, kinesistherapeutic procedures and the procedures aimed at figure shaping.
